What customers say?

“ Wow! I am so blown away! Went with my mom and grandma as a late Christmas gift and was so impressed! “ I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Abigail's today! I was so impressed with everything. The decor was lovely (including the bathroom that smelled great!). The owners were so welcoming and I was surprised to learn that they do everything in house. I mean surprised because I have a gluten allergy and my daughter is vegetarian. The gluten free scones were absolutely amazing!!! I sincerely wondered if she had given me the wrong ones! All the food was delicious and they serve real clotted cream and jam (i find clotted cream is something that is often skipped at tea houses). On top of that, I was impressed with the tea selection. Sometimes tea houses skimp and use bagged tea. I was delighted that it was loose leaf. All in all, I was very impressed and had a fabulous experience! Highly recommend! ”

“ We just had our first visit at Abigail's and it was wonderful! If I could, I would give 10 stars. We were seated quickly, and our tea was served almost immediately. We had time to sit and chat without feeling rushed. The food was great! We started with a delicious pimento cheese and cracker plate. We then had the most delicious salad, full of texture and taste! All of the sandwiches were delightful, a great variety! The scones were amazing! Clotted cream and a wonderful strawberry jelly! The sweet treats were the cherry on top. The vibe was amazing; the decor was perfect....and the owner was gorgeous! We are definitely coming back!!! ”

“ Abigail’s offers the equivalent of a fine dining high tea experience — and they execute it flawlessly. The service, timing, quality, and presentation of both the tea and the plates were exemplary. I’ll absolutely be attending again. Top marks for: a) proper loose-leaf tea, with steeping times provided, b) real clotted cream, and c) the best scones I’ve ever had — truly perfection. The atmosphere, décor, and overall character of the teahouse provide the perfect backdrop — it’s a setting with personality and warmth, a character all its own. Final shoutout: the tables are generously sized, making space for a full, proper tea experience with all the accoutrements. If we could give more than 5 stars, Abigail's would have all of them. In the meantime, we can't wait to return again. Thank you for the stunning experience! ”

“ We enjoyed a lovely lunch at Abigail’s. My husband had the turkey sandwich and I had the curried chicken Waldorf salad. Beautiful presentation, excellent service, and the raspberry tea was great. Thank you so much for the experience. We will be back! ”

“ Visited the tea house for the first time during the Apple festival. We needed a place to stop and rest and this was the perfect Little spot. Great set up. Love the decor. Instagram worthy. The owners and staff were super friendly. They went around and spoke to every table. It was really nice to see how well we were taken care of, like family. Great selection of teas. Nice big pot to share. They had a small menu for snacking. They also make their own dessert. Not store bought so that was a nice surprise. Would recommend anyone to stop by especially with the autumn weather coming. Great way to warm up. ”

“ Had a lovely Tea with my dear friend ( sister from another mister) for a belated birthday celebration ( only a day separates us ) at Abigail's Tea House in St. George today. A quaint cosy setting where we were made to feel welcome the moment we entered the shop. All of the food was tasty and presented on the iconic 3 tier tray and we made it through the bottom layer ( which included the mandatory and delicious cucumber sandwiches) along with full sized tea pots of specialty teas for each of us. The top two levels were packed and brought home. High teas are never cheap but every bite on this tray was worth savouring. The owner/baker brought out our tray and explained each item. All baked goods are her creations and praise worthy. I am told my scones are very good, they pale in comparison to these. Highly recommend the cross country drive, no need to stress the 401 and ruin the day's experience. Will definitely return for other special occasions. ( Be sure to make reservations) Thanks to my daughter for finding this hidden gem for us. ”
